My first Harley was a new ´82 Sturgis. It remained stock except for an S&S carb, drag pipes & points ignition. 60,000 mostly trouble-free miles later, I sold it, and have regretted that day. The biggest problem was it would eat primary belts (heat), at least until I started running an open primary. After that, no problems. A very sweet ride, would like to have another one now.
