DArc, I would first suggest to obtain a maintence/repair manual. You could probably find one on EBay or your local HD dealer. I recently replaced my final drive belt which also entails removal/replacement of the primary drive belt. It´s somewhat involved but with some patience I got through it. I would also suggest replacing the final drive on your´s as well. While you´re in there. In my opinion it´s a good insurance policy. Other things to think about would be the swingarm bearings, clutch, and starter.
