I bought my 82 sturgis in 86. still got it. still an 80 but tuned. shows 81.6 hp and 81.4 torque on the dyno, + does a 13.2 in the 1/4. would run in the 12´s if I could get the traction, but street tires are only so good. It´s a canadian edition as well although it´s the standard black and orange. I´ve run it hard for 18 years now and it still runs and is dependable like a new bike. (at least a new shovel)as far as i´m concerned the 82 fxb is the best shovel made and the sweetest h-d period.
