Enabling a 1978 Z1000R to have a larger rear tyre |

I am considering buying a 1978 Z1000R to turn into a low rider. My initial concern is the limited rear tyre size that can be accomadated by the original swinging arm and wheel. Does anyone know of a solution. A new swinging arm I suppose but a supplier? Cost? Any impact on the handling? etc etc Also the Z1R was not re known for it´s high speed handling. Does anyone have any suspension updates that can rectify this? |
