I had an early Z1-R with the 4 into 1 exhaust. Can´t remember a 4 into 2. Maybe it was just for the American market.
The best modification I made to mine was to fit an Eddie Lawson type of seat. It transformed the bike as you felt you were sitting in it rather than on it. Great bike, wish I still had it.
