ok well i have a 78 xlcr cafe racer with 5000 miles i have had it seince late fall , and i havent put many miles on it . but it runs great and then about a week of riding around (100 miles) it fouls 1 or both plugs,, i take them out and put new ones in and bamm runs great, i say foul but i see nothihng on them or wrong with them they act like they quit firing or short out deep inside, i have put new cond, points etc tuneup ,, and rebuilt card with new float as maybe a fuel problem ,,i shut fuel off when parked, im a luil lost do these have anyhistory of a coil/ wire problems im a lil lost ,,
