I am from South Africa and ride a DY250, which in our market is called a Roma, imported by local outfit MotoMia. I find the Roma/DY250 is fun to ride and is one of the fastest in its class. I´ve changed the sprocket to increase the pull-away power and am now looking at fitting a freeflow exhaust system (mostly because after 10000km, the factory exhaust is shot). My only criticism is that in some places the build quality is cheap. I´ve had to replace indicator stalks, tail-light clusters and other body panels which have all broken in less than a year of me owing the bike. Rust is also a problem. I also find the rubber seals on the panniers to be sub-standard and this results in a lot of noise and vibration from the boxes. The fuel consumption is good. |
