| The Ossa 500SS and the Yankee 500Z are often confused....the Ossa 500SS Yankee was a very different machine from the American made Yankee 500Z, the Ossa 500SS used basically the same engine with a different configuration, firing at 180* and had an oil injection system, where the Yankee 500Z was a 360* firing order, the Ossa version was made in Spain in limited quantities as a street roadster, I believe there were less than 1500 of the 500SS made, there are only about 4 or 5 in the USA that I know of, a picture can be seen at www.ossaplanet.com |
