I recently picked up a 1978 ts250 it´s in great shape and runs like a dream. Everything is great except I don´t have any charging voltage at the battery. I´ve had my volt meter on the battery charging lead off of the stater and I don´t have voltage there either. Does anyone know how I can properly check the charging coil? I´ve even put in a whole new stator assembly and I have the same problem. It would seem unlikely that my replacement part has the same problem as the part I took off the bike.
