I bought this bike, looking for something reliable to get me to work on time, after my old CB750KZ hit the deck!
What I didn´t realise was that I was probably better getting the Honda repaired!
The list of problems has been endless and the dealer hopeless.

Minor gripes:
* Horn button too easy to press by accident, which I often do!
* Gap between 2nd and 3rd gear way too much.

Problems:
Nah then...
* Stanchion seal leakage (from new!). Rear stanchion retaining bolt almost impossible to remove.
* Starter solenoid intermitant, then packed up.
* Chrome wafer thin on handlebars and front mudguard, rust at the slightest whiff of water.
* Suffers VERY badly in the cold from carb freezing to the point of almost being unsuable
* Chain wear high even with regular lubing
* Headlight bulb keeps blowing
* Misc electric connectors rotted (already!)
* Cable for rear brake seems to be designed to take in the maximum amount of salty water from the road (why didn´t they use a rod!!?)
* Paint extremely thin, although finish is nice.
* Plastic (yes plastic) "glass" on highlight prone to scratching.
* Headlight back starting to rot.
* Electrical wiring fault near battery causing short to ground, almost knackering the generator, because of incorrectly routed cable.

By now you have probably guessed that I am not particularly pleased with this bike, particularly the carb freezing problem, which is due to very bad design!
I bought it because it looked good and was economical and was under the impression that it would be reliable.
It has been anyhing but!
