Hello to all. I just picked up my first Suzuki. It´s a 79 GS1000 with 3500 miles on it for $40. Been sitting in a shed since 1983 and I am looking for some guidance on what I need to look at to get it back on the road. I have already replaced the tires, rebuilt the forks with 20W oil and put a 530 chain conversion kit on it. I will be digging into the carbs next. Are the CV´s on these bikes worth keeping? Any carb, exhaust upgrades? Thanks in advance for your help.
