Hi Everyone,
I just bought a 78 DT 400 and was wondering if I could get a little info? I´m not sure if the oil injector is working, so for now, I´m running premix in the tank. Anyone know what ratio? I´m running 40:1 till I find out for sure. The bike sat in a garage for 10 yrs. so its in great cosmetic shape & only 3500 miles on it but of course has some fuel system issues. I flushed out tank & carb & it runs, but kind of hard starting & unpredictable idle, but what a rush to ride! Any carb advice, including adjustments would be great. Also, I haven´t had a chance to check it out, so does it have electronic ignition, if not whats the point gap and plug gap? Thanks, JB
