I know what you mean . I have recently bought a 79 xls , drag pipes , pretty much 0 chrome(I hate the rust that follows)1200 degree black creamic coating. it has the stock tank brakes dual frt and rotor in rear. stock frt fender but it has been cut down a little in the frt.It is electronic ign and it flys . I put the S&S super shorty E Carb on it had to change the main jet to .64 and set it but she fires right up runs strong (bored .10 over) stock handle bars, light, rear fender, etc.I am selling her I have to move out of my house soon. :( So if anyone is interested (before I list it on E Bay).
