I just bought a ´78 Yamaha 650 Heritage Special. I was told by my son that he saw and heard it running, but that was a few months ago. Anyway, I cannot get it to crank by starter or kick start. I changed the fuel line because the old one was dryrotted and leaking fuel. As I was changing the line, I noticed there was rust coming out of it. I may have to rebuild the carbs, but there may be some other minor problems because of this event.
Any suggestions would be very helpful. I am truly looking forward to the complete restoration of this machine no matter what.
