Looking for crash bars/ case protectors

Looking for crash bars/ case protectors

I recently had to replace the exhaust system on my all original 1978 XS 750 Standard and my crash bars wont clear the the new pipes. I found bars for a XS 750 Special. Does anybody know if they will fit? Did the standard and special use the same frame?
