I had a brand new xs750E and it burned oil from the get go. It was always low after a couple hundred miles of fast running. I believe the oil was being thrown by the primary drive chain. I think most of them did that-at east the ones I knew. I really liked the bike but it didnĀ“t have a tensioner on the primary drive and it would eventually loosedn and smack against the cases. I put about 90K on mine and it burned up being short on oil. Great bike otherwise.
