Hi there folks, particularly those of you with experience of 860 GTSs. I have owned my GTS since new. I purchased in from Wally Lunn Motorcycles in Launceston in Tasmania. To say I had a trouble-free run with the bike would be a lie. It had two engine rebuilds before it had covered 7,000kms and 4 camshafts I think it was. But those things are fixed now. My current problem is with the ignition switch. It is unreliable and needs replacing. I am told that genuine replacement switches are no longer available and that even if they were not to bother. Has anyone faced this problem and can you tell me what you did to correct it? Is their a switch from another make that can be adapted? Thanks in advance for any response. |
