I recently purchased a ´77 XLCH and although it´s capable of riding right now it definitely needs some upgrades for better handling and performance. It´s been customized somewhat with a FL front end, fat-bob tanks, drag bar & pipes and new drum brakes (which suck). I´d like to get some ideas on replacing the shifters, adding disc brakes and a big fat wheel in the back. basically I need any info on parts, contacts, specifics on how to make this machine ride better whether it entails replacing the engine eventually or what it takes to get the bal rolling. thanks, Dave up in Canada
