I use 90 wt gear oil in my tranny. Seems to work well. Thats what most old harley mechanics will tell ya to use. My 78 FLH doesnt have a drivechain oiler so cant help you but if you have a primary oiler get it blocked and the lines rerouted. You dont want the crap that sits on the bottom of your primary ending up in your lower engine.
