I have a 77 GL1000, I bought a set of front fork tubes with lower legs and rebuilt them, along with my steering neck bearings. When I got to the part where I bolt on the front calipers, the bolt holes were way wider than the bracket on my calipers. The bike does have a 5-star front wheel. Can I use my calipers and just get the bigger brackets? If not can I run the bigger brackets with the calipers hat go with them? Thanks.
