I have built a lovely trike based on a 1975 Gl 1000 goldwing. It is fitted with the clutch from a GL1100 including the cover and throwout mechanism. When taking off from a standstill and during the feeding in of the clutch lever, the clutch lets out a horrible squawk. I am told this is quite common on this bike as it is on the single cam Honda 750´s, which use the same clutch. I need to know if anyone has encountered this problem and if a fix was found. Regards from Gert Roewer. |
