I AM A DUCATI GUY THRU AND THRU. HOWEVER AN 88 PASO SHOULD NOT BE YOUR FIRST BIKE. IT IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT SLOW AROUND TOWN SPEED. REMEMBER THAT IN 1988 DUCATI WAS DEVELOPING BIKES FOR SERIOUS RACING. NOT CRUISING TO GRANDMAS HOUSE. THAT BIKE IS ONLY HAPPY AT 100 MPH. GET A 1996 900SS SP WITH LOW MILEAGE. IT HAS 80 HP. MAKE THE AIRBOX AN OPEN ONE WITH K&N FILTER TO LET MORE AIR IN. IT LOVES TO GULP AIR, YOU CAN HEAR IT ACTUALLY GOING IN TO THE CARBS!! IT IS A GREAT FIRST BIKE WITH SMOOTH PREDICTABLE ACCELERATION AND WILL GET UP TO 128-130 IN A TUCK. IT LOVES TO ZIP AROUND IN TRAFFIC AND OPEN UP ON THE STRAITAWAY! IT HAS ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU HAPPY FOR AWHILE UNTIL YOU THINK YOU WANT TO MOVE UP TO A SUPER BIKE. THE OTHER THING IS WHEN I OOWNED MY 900 THE CHICKS LOVED THE DAMN THING YOULL NEVER BE ALONE WHEN YOU STOP SOMEWHERE ON THIS I GUARANTEE IT. ILL GIVE YOU $20 IF YOU EVER STOP SOMEWHERE AND NO ONE COME UP TO YOU ABOUT YOUR BIKE OR COMMENTS ON IT!! TRUST ME!! E-MAIL ME FOR MORE INFO.
