Getting the k75s Back on The Road

My ´88 K75s has been under wraps for about 4 years in an internal garage due to a family/finance problem. I would love to get it back on the road as I loved it. It´s done 90 000ks and was in great running order when taken off the road. Being totally a mechanical moron I did no prep for it´s long hibernation. What is the best and worse scenario about getting it back on the road? Do i take it to my BMW dealer who charge like wounded bulls or do I look elsewhere? Any advise appreciated.
