I am considering purchasing a Yamaha Venture Royal, 1989 XVZ 13 T. The bike looks to be taken care of, but it does show a little of it´s 40,000 miles and 18 years of age, but nothing really to complain about. I would be it´s third owner should I purchase it. Can you tell me about the history of these bikes, i.e. maintance issues, safety recalls, irritating quirks, and any other tidbits of interesting information. I would like to be informed about the good, bad, and ugly by the people who have loved and hated these bikes so I can make an informed decision, so I can go into this with my eyes open. Thank you for all your help and information. Bill
