I own an FJ 100. I LOVE THIS BIKE! cool enough to be cool, but bad enough to be BAD! no problems with this bike what so ever. i bought it used with 61,000 miles and it rips hard ! i keep looking for a 6th gear though. at 65 mph the tach is at 38000. not bad. i installed an V&H 4:1 header on there and it sounds nice. improved power. but i scraped the bottom on my first ride. dammit! i hate that. 2 things i would want on this bike. wider, newer tire for the rear, Corbin seat that does not slide your passenger around so much. if you ever want one, buy it. even at 61K, i ride her everywhere w/o a worry. they are bullet-proof and will last a long time if regular maintenance if done. i bought mine for $900.00 and have spent about $60.00 since buying it early this year. oh, and keep extra light bulbs in the tail...they blow often. overall, i would recommend this bike to anyone. thanks for reading this. dennis |
