Just bought my first bike yesterday a suzuki intruder 89 750. Went to the buyers rode it for about 3 min or so. Thing rode good fun. Although it did have a couple problems that were obvious . When squeezing the cluth to start the engine it is kind of loose and had to be either pressed down or pulled up at an angle to make the sensor acknowledge It would imagine. And on the left side where there is a spark plug there was electrical tape , I asked about it he said he seen a small wiring problem and placed to be safe in case. For the most part the bike seemed like a good buy to me. So I rode the bike home and on the freeway I decided to push it a little bit. As I hit about 90 it seemed to have either to much rpms or maybe a slip in gear , transmission problem? Slowed down kept riding good. I´m a new rider so I was listening to the engine and felt confedente but also that when accelerating there was this gap or pause in the transmission and acceleration. I drove the bike for about an hour and felt as if it rode well at highway speeds and when changing gear. On the way back about five min from my house when down shifting or slowing down there was a drop in rpms and motor seized. I seen the lights on temp, and oil Also the natural. Let it sit for about 3 min then started it up again. After getting it home wi th the same problem happining, I thought maybe it was a fuel problem or something else. . Next morning tried to start no ignition , battery would start the s ts rter couple good cranks no start. any ideas?
