Listen guys, top speed has a lot of factors. Barometric pressure, ambient temp, fuel used, rider weight, tire pressure, riding position... BLAH. BLAH. BLAH. Even in a dyno "controled environment" there are problems with consistent pulls. As I am sure that political ideals had a lot to do with top speed it has probably more to do with settings (and rider) more than anything else.
