This is a variable answer question: depends on the climate conditions. Best scenario would be cool dry place. Temperature controlled would be ideal. Do a fresh oil change on the bike before storage. Used oil inside the motor contains combustion by-product acids that can cause seal problems. There are those that would argue this point. However, you can´t beat good insurance. Lower your tire pressure as much as you can and still roll the bike. This helps prevent sidewall cracking and deterioration. And last, a cover or tarp. They help a lot to protect your investment.
