I´ve had quite a few different bikes in my realitivley short experience with riding. The other day I found an old Harley 1347 for sale and was on my way to the bank to get money to buy it. While on the way I spotted a long and beautiful red and cream wonder that I first thought was an Indian. I pull up to take a look at the bike and, sure enough, it was a 1996 Yamaha Royal Star. The owner of the bike came and let me take it for a test drive, and when he turned the key, my jaw dropped. The bike had 1837 miles on it, and no I´m not kidding. I hopped on and cruised around the block, and when I say cruised I mean that quite literally. The man selling it only wanted $4500 for the bike, and it was half as much as the Harley, and I was sold. Since buying the bike two days ago I´ve put almost 400 miles on it, and I´m absolutley in love. The thing is long and lean, and for how BIG the bike is, it handles like a dream. It´s definetly a head turner, and I´ve never had so many compliments about a bike. It was the best $4500 I´ve ever spent, and even in the future if me and this bike part ways, you can bet your %!¤I´ll be in the saddle of another Yamaha.
