I´ve been riding 40 years -- this is my 7th bike. I tend to keep them 5- 10 years. I love the Royal Star, period. True, it´s got adequate rather than head-snapping power. I don´t care, I like that it´s geared down so that it´s low-balling it at 2,000 RPM in every gear. The handling, turns, and ride are fabulous. The styling is pure retro-Indian perfect. Heads turn wherever I go. The de-tuned V-max 4-banger engine will probably last forever. Had it two years now, expect to keep it another ten! I think it´s the best bike ever made.
