I´m restoring a ´78 SX 250 and am wondering if any of you folks might know what would be an appropriate for the transmission/clutch?
Also I´m wondering what direction the oil pump runs? The shop manual cautions against running the pump wrong direction. I can´t imagine how one could run the pump backwards. I want to run the pump off of the engine to test flow, for leaks, and to purge it of possible foreign material, but don´t know what direction it´s supposed to turn?
