I have no solution on your rear suspension. Can only say that the suspension of my SZR supermono racer is weeker than you discribed.
Try another suspension unit, probably yours went broke.
Try for tuning parts the D.S.A (dutch supermono society) or a german equivalent. Once we tried only a stage two camshaft, and the power went up to 55 hp on the rear wheel!!! You can get this item by the D.S.A. The plastics: try Sebimoto. You can get your SZR in Yamaha TZ racing disguise!! The plastics are good quality, and not too expensive c.a. 450 euro.
