i just brought a uk first registered xtz660,i rode back from isle of man,20 miles into journey and kept cutting out.kept starting it an went for 10 miles or so and cut out again.started bike again and the lights started to go dim,then had to turn them off as bike was cutting out,ran for 7 miles and bike was dead.the new batt has only 11 volts.the charging system has obviously failed.i checked connections and all seem to be in order.i cannot find a manual anywhere,so to get info on how to check for alternator pushing out right output,or how to check rectifier.would anyone be able to email me to show how to accuratly check these components myself,apart from that problem i love the bike,kind regards Gary
