HereĀ“s the problem. My motorcyle seems to be spitting and sputtering based on fuel level and the outside air temp. On colder days I can ride and when the fuel level gets down to approximately 1/4 of a tank the motor starts to spit and sputter. It may do it for a 1/2 mile to a mile and quit and then maybe start up again a few miles later. On warmer days it may start sputtering at around a 1/2 tank of fuel and work its way out and then start doing it again a few miles later. In both cases I do feel the engine getting warmer. The thing that stops it from spitting and sputtering is to fill the tank back up with cool fuel.
