I have the 1996 Thunderbird and it appears as if there was a short in the wiring harness, fire caught the plastic air filter, etc. on fire, tank is scorched. Wiring is shorted up to handlebar controls. I have noticed a few people looking for the wiring harness on the Thunderbird and wondered if they might have had a recall. Seems like too many scorchers for this one model of motorcycycle!! Any comments??
