Problem when I was changing my rear brake pads...

While changing my rear brake pads, when it came time to compress the pistons they would not budge, at all. I opened the bleeder and even as a last resort opened where you add brake fluid. I could only get one of the old brake pads back in. When I used a C-clamp, not even that would budge it. Any advice?
