A waste of time. to many modds. Besides the front forks are not up to the job. Want better handeling with minor costs? Buy full exaust system, dynojet kit and 2 hours tuning time, presto 141 bhp at back wheel (125 bhp standard). Wp (or other aftermarket)shock wil do wonders for the handeling + wp front springs and damping modds for sports riding. Not a gsx-R 1000 beater but if you can ride it will shock a few ZX9R riders and show-off´s with earlier R1´s. Don´t forget the pirelli diablo´s or corsa tyres. Bridgestone 010´s make it steer slow. Stick to original sizes. Cant seem to solve the running wide out of the corners when on the throttle, but hey it´s a 1996 RF900. The above cost´s should be about €2000,00. Reliable, trashable, bike. P.S. yellow/purple ones are the ones to go for. |
