At rear of riders seat, underneath, there is a screw on each side of the seat. Remove these bolts and seat should pull up and back to remove. Then you must remove the gas tank. After seat removal you will see 2 bolts at rear of gas tank with rubber shock mounts, remove bolts and shock mounts. Gas tank will now pull back and up(you may need to remove full line and vaccum line to gas valve to pass tank by frame. Now you must remove upper head cover and you will be able to get to the plug.
