I picked this bike up after 9/11 for $1800 w/14,700 miles on it. When I bought it the bike already had a windshield, saddlebags, backrest, and the radiator guard. I removed most of that stuff for a stock bike picture, as seen here on the 88 VT-600 spec page.

I really scored on this bike, it came with brand new tires, oil, and brake fluid none of which were dirty yet. The only thing I did to it since was add a new chain and sprockets and a clutch cable. Barring that the bike still looks like it just rolled out of the Honda showroom, all that for about $2000 which is half of what they went for new back in 1988...
