I have a white 1000F & it tiik two of us on tour to Ireland quite happily this last Summer. No real problems except the rear suspension could drop enough to scrape the centre stand .. nice to see the sparks in the dark, but a little worrying when your leant over on a corner & hit a sudden dip. Otherwise - I like this, beastly-heavy thing. Mine is a nice-day-only bike now, 20y of winter/summer riding ruined too many bikes. Mine doesnt look like the 97 pic but its does the 88. You *have* to love its jellymould fairing. Dave |
