I´ve never ridden a bike outside of dirtbikes..I plan on owning a sport bike before next summer. here´s where things get interesting (for me anyway) I recently come across 2 bikes for sale. they´re both 1988 Honda Hurricane 1000s. One is a parts bike... Since im new to bikes, i´m wondering if a restoration would be worth it? They have sat in a garage for the past 4 years untouched. They both ran before parking.. what would i need to do to be riding them by next year? new tires, new battery, oil/coolant/spark plug changes, new chain, re jet carbs, anything else? also where would you suggest getting all the plastics? and chain? i assume finding parts may be difficult. the running bike has 14,000 miles the parts bike has 20,000
