These bikes are notorious hard starters. I got the process down pretty well for my bike.Try this with yours. 1) Be sure you are trying to start the bike when it´s on the top of the compression stroke and engage the compression release. 2) Check is the "hot start" switch on the carb(the round knob on the left side of carb)My lc4 wouldn´t start with the switch engaged when cold. 3) Use full choke when the bike´s cold. 4) Don´t give the bike any throttle when starting either. Mine sat all winter and started on the third kick.This was just from alot of trial and error.If you´re not getting any fuel on the plug after forty kicks it sounds like a jetting problem.The combustion chamber should be getting fuel with every kick.Forty kicks should at least flood the bike.Good luck! |
