| There are a lot of known problems for this bike and I´m not talking about small problems that are easily overcome. Both cilinders have very bad standard cooling and have to be modified by a skilled technician. Not even the factory can repair it to full satisfaction. My mouth fell open at the "mistakes" in this bike´s engine. There are so many things that have to be modified before you can enjoy it without worrying all the time. I have fallen in love with this bike and after my testride I was even more enthusiastic, but I never dared to actually buy one. It´s a beautiful bike and riding it is a great pleasure, but the bike deserves a far better engine that the one it has. When you need more info on these bikes or other Laverda´s, then there is a very skilled dealer in The Netherlands : Gijs van Dijk motoren. |
