my crank case is cracked I jb welded it with a mixture of epoxy. it holds. had trouble with it shifting. it would slip out of gear then back in.and the rear wheel would lock down on me. then I couldn´t get it out of gear or find neutral. pulled the motor found pieces of the shifting fork broken inside..I´m wondering if I replace the fork will it happen again. I cant afford to keep using this process of elimination, might be cheaper to just find a complete lower crank case and just invest in that or find a 99, 2000 1600 or 1700 and swapm out. any suggegstions or where look. ill sale this engine. any offers.
