Hi. I have replaced my severed clutch cable but am still having problems with the shifting mechanism. Question: within the asssembly past the cable and heading into the tranny there is a pin that engages (or disengeges)and on mine it seems to be two separate pins that meet each other just at the entry of the tranny/clutch. However both of these pins look shiny new on the ends which leads my to believe that they are not supposed to be separted but, rather, one pin. I am simply seeking to confim my suspicion before I pull the pin that is in the tranny. Any help/schematic of that assembly would be greatly appreciated. It is Sunday 7/30 and I´m hoping to work on it today and tomorrow. Thanks in advance.
