No problems as such.
Because the inlet ports are such a large diameter for maximum air flow at 12,000-13,000rpm,
they lose the ram-air effect in the mid-range 6000rpm and the lower revs range.
So not much mid-range power. In fact the earlier gsx-r750 models had around three to 4 horse-power advantage in the mid-range but were down about 10 horse-power at max revs.
