I am a new owner of a French gs 1100 g cardan shaft drive 1987. i am getting a feel for the bike trying to tune it without a service manual. It runs well now I have put a new regulator on, apart from when the bike gets warm the idle speed creeps up to nearly 3000 revs, any suggestions please. I really felt there should have been a 6th gear.cheers Pete
