Ok so it´s now the summer of 2019 and I just bought a 88 with about 112,000 km on it. The bikes still in very nice shape considering it´s 31 years old, but this one definitely needs good tune up becasue it sat for a bit more than a year. It definitely is heavy, but I think once it´s back to running smooth I´m going to love it. My last bike was sold 30 years ago (a CB1100F that I bought new and enjoyed for 6 year) This one should have more power, but sure doesn´t right now.
