Hi. I have just purchased a 1997 Suzuki Freewind for my wife as her first bike - it was a German import into the UK and the speedo digital readout is in KPH. I was told by a suzuki dealership that a plugin KPH/MPH switch which plugs into the wiring loom would resolve the problem, but having fitted it it appears to do nothing. Can anyone offer any suggestions about how the switch operates, does the bike need to be moving, or is there a specific sequence to using the switch in conjuncxtion with the ignition? Please help if you can. Regards. Andy Burden. |
