| I just bought a 1987 Sportster 883cc from a buddy of mine for $900. It does not start, but he says it should only be a minor electrical problem. It sat for almost a year in his barn. After I drain all old fluids out and replace plugs and wires, tune her up a bit, I´ll put the new battery in and see if she fires up. I got a new battery also, so if it won´t start after that I´ll have to start troubleshooting! Anyone know of any common electrical failures with ´87 Sportster 883´s? |
